Optimism about the future of the domestic economy is at its lowest point in three years, according to the latest economic outlook survey of business executives by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). The percentage of survey respondents who are “optimistic” or “very optimistic” is down 17 percent from the previous quarter and down 40 percent from a year ago.
